Yes. The Bombay Store is a registered Public Limited Indian company; called Bombay Swadeshi Stores Limited. It operates under the brand name The Bombay Store.

Currently, we do not have operations on International shores. Customers do get confused with “Bombay” or “Bombay Co” which operated in USA and Canada. The Bombay Store, India has no connection with “Bombay Co” of the USA or Canada. The Bombay Store is an Indian based company and currently operates only in India.

Yes. Gift Certificates are available at all The Bombay Store retail outlets & have to be redeemed currently at the Retail outlets only.

How will I know if The Bombay Store has received my order ?

During the payment process you will be given a confirmation that your credit card has been successfully processed. You will also be given an order confirmation number through an email from The Bombay Store

How do I check my order status?

You can view the order status at any time once you have placed your order, through “My Orders” options after logging in to your account on The Bombay Store website. We try and dispatch all the orders within five working days and then you can track your order from “Track your order” option on the homepage of www.thebombaystore.com through tracking system.

What if a Product/s is out of stock?

The Bombay Store makes every effort to keep all products in stock. However, there may be times when unexpected demands exceed our supply. If a customer places an order for a product which is not in stock, The Bombay Store will inform the customer through an email and credit his/her credit card account within two business days of placing orders. The Bombay Store will not retain a customers request for an out of stock product in a back order system.
