Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase please follow the instructions below -
  • Returns, if any, need to be made within 30 days of receiving the goods.
  • The Bombay Store will replace the returned items free of cost or issue a refund for the cost of the goods to the credit /debit card used for online shopping.

Exchange Policy

Our shipments are carefully inspected before leaving our warehouse, but if you are not satisfied with your purchase please follow the instructions below:
  • If you would like to request an exchange please write to us This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
  • You can call customer support of  The Bombay Store at  +91 22 40318888 for arranging of pick-up of the product for any exchange / damage of product.
  • Items which to be exchanged need to be sent to the addresses given below within 30 days of receiving the goods.
  • The Bombay Store will replace the items free of cost or issue a full refund if we have sent you a wrong item (wrong colour or size). Shipping charges for the replacement will not be billed to the customer.
  • If you would like to exchange any item, The Bombay Store will replace the returned items free of cost and issue a refund for the cost of the goods to the credit /debit card used for online shopping. However, shipping charges would not be refunded. On receipt of the wrong product at our return address, you would need to place a fresh order for the correct item.

Claiming Refunds

As the charge to your credit card / account would have already been done online at the time you made the purchase and authorized the payment we will provide a refund to your account via the ICICI Payment Gateway if applicable as per the situations given below.

If applicable, refunds would be made for the cost of the goods to the credit /debit card used for online shopping.

*Refunds will be done in the following case:
  1. Genuine quality issues
  2. Packages lost in transit
  3. In case The Bombay Store discovers any mispricing in its online catalogue and the price charged to you is higher than the actual price.
  4. In case The Bombay Store discovers that a wrong item has been shipped to you.
  5. In case the customer is not happy with the purchase and has returned the item(s) to the address mentioned above.
No refunds will be given in the following cases:
  1. Incorrect or outdated delivery address.
  2. Incorrect address format including any form of a P.O.Box address.
  3. After 3 failed delivery attempts by Air Frieght Limited courier.
  4. Package refused by recipient.
  5. Products returned in a used or damaged condition.
  6. In case of minor design and colour variations. With handloom products there will always be some variation in colour between products you see online and products you get in hand.
* Note: All refunds will only be made after we receive the returned shipment except in the case of packages  lost in transit.
